Charles Hayden Sobie was born November 10, 2007 at 9:29 pm, weighing in at 7 pounds and 1 ounce. He weighed 8 pounds and 2 ounces at his 2 week pediatrician appointment and appears to be steady gaining, but not quite surpassing, the weight of Sophie, the 13 pound cat. Charlie was welcomed by his Grammy Nancy in his second week. He celebrated Thanksgiving with his Aunty Em and Uncle Gregorio at the D'Amico house. His MoMa came in late December and made sure Charlie got into the Christmas spirit, including seeing snow and meeting Santa. His namesake, Grandpa Chuck then came to help Charlie ring in the New Year.
