Ode to Thumbsucking

Charlie has somewhat mastered the art of thumbsucking. We say somewhat because sometime he forgets this trick, or manages to confuse the thumb with the rest of his fingers. Still, for the times that he can get the thumb in there, he can calm himself down and put himself to sleep (instead of having mom or dad hold the pacifer for him). This step toward independently falling asleep is HUGE for mom and dad. Charlie can now suck his thumb when he wakes up in the middle of the night, which means he is sleeping through the night!
